Plan on going to Sebring Florida in 2024, friend had back surgery in December of 2022 so didn’t make it to Florida the beginning of 2023, winter wasn’t actually that bad , so we were lucky that way.
Didn’t make it to Florida this year. On June 20 I had total knee replacement and stayed at my friends place until August 1. Did go from crutches to a walker to a cane and a walking stick and I was able to drive all in a month. Best decision I made to get surgery. My friend had major back surgery in December so our plans for Florida were put on hold till 2024. Plan on being in Florida for six weeks then. We both will now set off alarms anytime there is a metal detector in the area! So busy now getting things done like spring cleaning and soon planting a garden and yard work.

Barb, I hope you have a very Happy Birthday. Enjoy your day by spending it the way you want to.
Since I retired I also learned to fish, so go fishing along the Allegheny River in Parker pa where a friend has a camp. Enjoy sitting on the deck watching boats go by and the fish jump seeing geese, cranes, ducks, eagles, and deer in the area. And watching the moon come up over the river. Also enjoy going out on a side by side trail riding. Life is short so enjoy it while you can!
Plan to visit Florida again next year also just not sure of where
Retirement is the best job I ever had!
Spent the month of February 2022 in Ft myers Florida. So nice to get out of the cold and snow.
