Porter was a quiet shy but very nice guy. He loved simple things in life.
His family were / are great people.

A sweet guy  - gone way too soon. I know he's with the Lord...

Porter and I always sat next to each other and talked in the cafeteria. I can't recall if it was in the morning while waiting to be "released" to go to our home-rooms, or waiting for our buses to go home. What I do recall is that really hollow feeling after he died. Tim Theis, Keith Mahood and I drove together to the funeral home one cold night to pay our respects.

old friend, I've thought of you often over the years.

I have often thought of Porter over the years as well. He was always so very nice to others.

Porter and I were close friends and I was devastated when I heard of his accident. We attended the same church where we were involved in Sunday school and youth group.  I've lost touch of his family over the years but they were a Loving Christian family. I've never forgotten all of the fun times we had and I will never forget his smile. He wore English Leather after shave and I still think of him when I smell it. I bought him some for Christmas the year before he passed and his mom wouldn't let him take it because back then girls didn't buy boys gifts.  I guess I was the rebellious type.
