Rosemary Elaine Kuminkoski, 50, of Prospect died Friday in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 in Venango County. A son, Phillip, also died in the accident.
Born Dec. 6, 1952, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Louise Paradise Fowler.
She worked as a store manager for Gulf Oil Co.
Mrs. Kuminkoski was a former EMT in Portersville and enjoyed gardening and gambling.
She is survived by her husband, James Allen Kuminkoski, whom she married March 3, 1973; two sons, Christopher P. Kuminkoski of Chicora and James J. Kuminkoski of Prospect; a daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Kuminkoski of Prospect; a brother, Henry Fowler of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. David (Louise) Covey and Lois McKnight, both of Butler; and three grandchildren.

Wow! It really hits you hard to read classmates who are deceased. I can vividly remember Rosemary's smiling face on our way home on the school bus. We had a lot of laughs. She was a really nice person. Rest in peace Rosemary.
