Ruth Weidenhof

Gaffney, SC - - Ruth Ann Weidenhof, 69, of 221 Bancroft Road, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Cherokee Medical Center.

  Born in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry Weidenhof and Dorothy Downey Weidenhof.  She was employed with Milliken and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  She loved her family and animals, especially cats, loved taking care of everyone and reading.

  Surviving are four sisters, Joy Centers of the home, Thelma Novy (Ron) of Mississippi, Dorothy McKelvey (Bob) of North Carolina and Evelyn Morgan (Bill) of Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Weidenhof and Henry Weidenhof.

  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Pastor Jacob Roberts officiating.
