Cynthia Hessinger Obituary

Cynthia A. "Cindy" (Fagan) Hessinger, 70, of Millcreek passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 30, 1953 a daughter of the late John and Barbara (Shira) Fagan.
After her early years in Butler, Pa, Cindy received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Westminster College. After graduation, she taught first grade in Saxonburg, Pa and preschool at St. Stevens in Erie. Cindy also worked as a sales manager for MegaGrafix and helped to build and grow the company alongside her husband for 34 years.
Cindy was active in many civic organizations. She was a member of The Junior League, and served as office manager for a few years. She was a board member of the Visiting Nurses Association and The Achievement Center, which helps children with disabilities. Cindy enjoyed being a part of two vibrant book clubs, and the Carrie T. Watson Garden Club. Cindy was an excellent cook, loved baking, reading, gardening, and especially spending time with her beloved family and many friends.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Robert G. "Bob" Hessinger; her children, Andy Curtze, wife Amanda, Brett Curtze, wife Anastasia; Sabrina Hessinger, Delene Hessinger and Elise Dickerson, husband Jody; seven grandchildren, Clarie, Samuel, Isabel, Felicity, Olivia, Bryanna and Jake. She is also survived by her siblings, Candy Miller, husband Ken and Mark Fagan, wife Luann and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family are invited to gather on Monday, February 5th at Luther Memorial Church, 225 West 10th Street, from 1 pm until the time of a service at 3 pm with Pastor Jay Mitchell. Bonnie (Bonita) Bacher (Martin)

Cindy was a kind and loyal friend.  My condolences to her family.
